The next year of the Erasmus+ programme will have an increased budget of almost €3.9 billion, to provide opportunities related to study abroad, traineeships, apprenticeships, staff exchanges and cross border cooperation projects in various areas of education, training, youth and sport.
The main priorities are: Inclusion and Diversity, Digital Transformation, Environment and fight against climate change and Participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement.
The main novelties include:
- Forward-looking projects to support inclusive digital education and the adaptation of education systems for the green transition
- Increased opportunities with third countries (in the field of VET and Sport)
- more inclusive DiscoverEU: to help even more young people with fewer opportunities to participate
- simpler financing of cooperation projects with lump sums which make applying, managing and reporting much easier
