The MOOC-Art of the project RestART is a massive open online course designed to support vocational upskilling of professionals from the creative, cultural and artistic organisations, as well as small creative businesses, grassroot cultural organisations, independent creators and artists of any kind.
The RestART project aims to relaunch and reactivate the creative and cultural sector. During the pandemic, in some cases, the difficult situation everybody was experiencing due to the restrictions and lockdowns was lightened through arts, cinema, music, etc., and many artists stepped up to bring their art into people’s homes.
However, such an important sector has been one of the most affected by the pandemic in terms of unemployment and precariousness. In this framework the RestART project, with partners from Italy, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Greece and Finland, developed innovative training materials based on the needs of the cultural and creative sector to be included in the MOOC-ART.
These training materials focus on three main topics:
- Digital marketing skills.
- Communication skills.
- Technical skills.
The learners will have the chance to improve their knowledge and skills in crucial areas for their work, such as promotion, digital marketing, networking, communication and social media, content production and video production and editing.
In March and April 2023, the MOOC-ART will be tested by CSS professionals in order to improve it and finalise it. These professionals will also have the chance to gain important tools for their work and to widen their network as well.
