From 6 to 9 March the My Creativity – My Power team met in Ljubljana for a 3-day joint international workshop were 16 people, among which youth workers and experienced artists, collaborated in a creative process for the development of creative and artistic methods for young people.
During the 3 days we tried out artistic methods guided by the artists, laying down the basis for the co-development of new creative procedures.
Youth workers and artists brought their expertise and through round tables, brainstorming and creative thinking activities, they gathered ideas on how to use art and creative methods to empower young people, rise their self-esteem and give them the possibility to have a voice in the society.
All these ideas will be put together and will be part of one of the toolboxes that will be developed during the 2-years project lifetime.
In fact, in the next months, My creativity – My Power will develop two toolboxes: 1 on creative and artistic methods and another one on advocacy and activist methods for young people,.
Moreover, in April an amazing artistic journey will start for more than 50 young people around Europe, that will meet in 3 international workshops, in 3 different countries, ending in Bruxelles for a final artistic performance.
