In a Europe that is increasingly interconnected but marked by social and cultural challenges, MOVE has placed young people at the center of change, raising awareness of the reality of migration and promoting social cohesion and European identity. Through social communication campaigns, MOVE has encouraged dialogue, inclusion, and valuing diversity by strengthening empathy.

Learning by playing: these were the key words of the project, which involved hundreds of young people in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Cyprus. Participants empathized with the experiences of migrant people to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges of the path to social inclusion and the obstacles that can arise.

During the project, youth workshops involving both local and migrant youth, awareness campaigns designed by the youth themselves, and local events to promote the materials developed were organized in each partner country. To crown these activities, a final conference in Brussels featured prominent speakers, including activist Gonzalo Fanjul and Member of the European Parliament Hana Jalloul Muro.

The conference was a pivotal moment, culminating in the presentation of the MOVE Decalogue of Inclusion, which can be found on the project’s official website.

MOVE has shown that it is possible to combat discrimination, raise awareness and promote empathy through innovative tools such as the MOVE Training Guide and the MOVE Goose Game. A concrete step toward building more cohesive and inclusive societies.
