In Rendlesham, the second Free seminar of the FRIENDS project – Fostering Resilience, Inclusive Education and Non-Discrimination in Schools was held on 26th September 2019 in the United Kingdom.
Partners met up in order to commonly review the progress related to the implementation of the Quiet Time/TM programme in the primary and secondary schools of the project – FRIENDS
After the 1° FRIENDS free seminar, schools coming from all over Europe, had the opportunity to get in touch during the 2° FRIENDS face-to-face dissemination meeting held in Lisbon on 9th May. The FRIENDS partners, schools and other institutions taking part to the project and other ones not involved attended to the meeting.
The 1° FRIENDS free seminar entitled “EDUCATION FOR INCLUSION THROUGH QUIET TIME/TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION” was held the 9th of May at the Auditorium Armando Guebuza of the Lusófona University Library, in Lisbon.
In Lisbon, on the 8th of May the FRIENDS partners met at the Lusófona University Library Auditorium on occasion of the 3° partners meeting in order to commonly review the status of the implementation activities in the countries involved and fining up the strategy for enlarging local and online communities of the FRIENDS initiative.
The FRIENDS project has seen its further advancement through the 2° partners meeting taking place in Brussels on the 30th November 2018.
On 29th November 2018, schools’ representatives of different EU countries participated to the 1° FRIENDS face-to-face meeting that was held at the Royal Library of Belgium.
The new FRIENDS project started in January 2018 aiming at introducing an innovative approach known as the Quiet Time based on the Transcendental Meditation programme (TM®).
