How to promote participation and active citizenship?

AP8 offers a new free online training opportunity for policy-makers, heads of organizations and activists.

The online training will focus on the following topics: disinformation, participation of educators, activists and youth workers in the creation of EU policies, active citizenship, importance of the voting tool in representative democracy, use of new tools for e-democracy.

The training will take place in a single meeting, to be held online, for a duration of approximately 3 hours.

Do you want to be part of it? You can choose to take the training on one of the following dates:

  • 8th of May: from 16.00 to 19.00 CET
  • 9th of May: from 16.00 to 19.00 CET
  • 10th of May: from 16.00 to 19.00 CET
  • 11th of May: from 16.00 to 19.00 CET

This training will involve actors from the main NGOs at an international level, with youth workers, activists and educators from all over Europe. The working language will be English. To participate, fill out the Google form in this link.

Places will be limited, please confirm your participation by 07/05/2023 at 18:00 CET.

Get Political: Empowering youth, building democracy

Get Political is an innovative initiative that aims to improve the political culture and active participation of young people (15-30 years old) and youth workers. Through inclusive tools, practical experiences and educational resources, the project fills gaps in civic engagement by promoting dialogue between young people and policy-makers. The aim is to train new generations capable of shaping democratic change.
