StartUp2: How to start a successful business and discover new marketplaces

How to help new entrepreneurs to start a successful business?
Have you ever heard about the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme?
On 18th April at Magneti Cowork (Palermo), the info-day of StartUp2 - Start, Run & Grow your Business was held in order to inform about Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. Here the aspiring and new entrepreneurs and the expert entrepreneurs had the chance to learn about the opportunities offered by the programme.
The participants learned what Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is about and what they need to do in order to take part. Many questions raised about the criteria requested for the participation to the programme, the registration process and the research of the ideal entrepreneur.
Moreover, during the info-day it was underlined how through this exchange the new entrepreneurs and the host entrepreneurs can share their experiences and create a win-to-win collaboration whereby both of you can also discover new European markets or business partners, different ways of doing business.
Thanks to this programme, the new entrepreneurs or those who have started their own business in the last 3 three years have the chance to work abroad for one-six months:
- to work alongside an experienced entrepreneur in another European Union country and extra EU (United States, Israel and Singapore);
- to strengthen the skills they need in order to develop their entrepreneurial idea and start their business.
The expert entrepreneurs who have been running a company for more than 3 years and want to expand their business or enter new European markets getting in touch with other entrepreneurs can host a new entrepreneur in their firm with no charge to their company, receiving fresh ideas and new skills of a motivated new entrepreneur. As showed during the event, the entrepreneurs can tap into the knowledge of other European markets and develop their international contacts, without moving from their office. The exchange could be the starting point to find new opportunities for their business.
In order to register to the programme, you just need to sign up to Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, add your CV, and if you are a new entrepreneur, add your business plan too. Please do not forget to choose CESIE as your intermediary organization.
