This one-hour documentary shows to what extent it is possible to promote and spread the word about an healthy and responsible consumption, in four different countries: China, France, Italy and Vietnam.

The Eat Smart project aims at raising awareness about the need for an healthy food and sustainable consumption, through a new discovery of culinary traditions. It is coordinated by CESIE with the support of the Youth in Action programme (Action 3.2) of the European Commission. For nearly one year, 40 young cooks and video-makers from 4 different organizations (CANGA/China, Pistes Solidaires/France, SJ Vietnam/Vietnam and CESIE/Italy) have been involved in the different steps of the project: a training course in Beijing, 6 local workshops in each of the 4 countries, the production of a documentary, a research on traditional recipes and an International Food Fair in Palermo, Italy.

Now, the project is coming to an end, and the partner associations have analysed it in a final meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam. There, partners have evaluated to what extent the Eat Smart results and messages were achieved and spread, and they considered new collaborations together.
