SUNIA GEEL 2: secondo incontro internazionale a PalermoSUNIA GEEL 2 is a European project, co-funded by the Daphne III Programme (DG Justice) that aims at providing a framework to reduce violence against women and children of marginalised ethnic communities and ensure that their needs for safety and support are met. Main target groups are: Sinti, Roma and Muslim migrants and Travellers.

The 2nd transnational meeting of the project will take in Palermo from the 4th to the 7th of October 2013 hosted by CESIE. The partners from Austria, Germany, Ireland and Romania will meet to share the work carried out during the last months and to plan next project steps.

In particular, the partnership will analyse the results of the questionnaire that has been administered to 300 women (in total), victims of Domestic Violence, in the different partners’ countries. The aim of that survey was to explore and understand the needs of project’s target group in relation to social services currently available.

The main findings of that phase will orientate next project developments.
