Palermo was the venue to successfully host the third meeting of the BODY project – that engages in exploring the impact of cultural differences related to body, health, disability, gender and sexuality in adult training activities- hold from the 25th to 28th March 2013.
The consortium had the opportunity to confirm the validity of the progress by identifying the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of the applied methodology so to ensure its best results and learning outcomes.
The meeting was also the occasion to review and discuss in depth the BODY products already available:
- The Best Practices Reader gathering innovative best practices in adult trainings that take into account cultural diversity.
- The interactive Online TOOL visually showing the examples of Best practices to overcome the situations of Critical Incident.
- The final version of the Theory Reader (anthologies and bibliography) as recommended readings to get background information on cultural differences concerning the BODY themes.
- The final content and structure of the Manual BODY for adult trainers working in the field of health education, sexuality education, intercultural education, gender related education.
In order to finalise the programme of the Grundtvig in- service training (Budapest 1/5.07.2013) and the closing conference BODY IN CULTURE-CULTURE IN BODY (Bruges 12/13.09.2013) for adult trainers in the partners have worked in small groups on the identification and formulation of learning outcomes related skills and tools.
