Vuoi scambiare la tua ricetta? Are you tempted by an original and stimulating learning experience that would allow you to exchange ideas and acquire new competences?

Do you enjoy cooking? Would you like to see your recipes published in a cookbook?

Would you like to participate in the organisation of an event promoting traditional gastronomy in Palermo?

Do you like travelling, meeting people, discovering and getting to know new cultures and traditions?

Then this could be the perfect experience for you!

The ALCE (Appetite for Learning Comes with Eating) project currently being organised will allow you to participate in an intercultural learning course in Palermo. The course will consist of ten sessions between April and June 2013 involving:

  • The exchange of traditional recipes and natural cures,
  • A training course on event creation that will allow you to maximise your competences,
  • The conception of a book that will collect recipes and natural cures provided by the participants,
  • The creation of an event about traditional gastronomy in Palermo.

The same activities will be carried out simultaneously in four cities in England, Austria, France and Lithuania, all thanks to the ALCE project!

If you wish you will also be able to participate in:

  • a three-day training course in Austria,
  • a seminary in Lithuania during which you will be able to share your ALCE experiences,
  • an event about traditional gastronomy in France.

At the end of the project you will receive a certificate of participation attesting the linguistic, digital, civic, intercultural and organisational competences you will have acquired.

The project is aimed at Sicilian women over 60 years old and immigrant women aged between 18 and 40.
