Context

COSTELLAZIONI is the name chosen by Never Alone for its Community of Practice, launched in 2023 with the aim of fostering a dynamic space for exchange and mutual learning among practitioners, guardians, and volunteers supporting the growth pathways of unaccompanied minors.

Constellations, chosen as a metaphor, represent a living heritage from the past and continue to inspire a shared vision whenever we look up at the sky. Drawing connections between stars, recognizing recurring patterns, and attributing shared meanings is not only an act of imagination—it reflects a deeply human need to orient ourselves together and to build collective points of reference along the way.

The Community of Practice revolves around four key thematic areas:

• Housing: Transforming reception into real, sustainable living solutions.
• Work: Valuing skills and promoting fair and dignified access to employment.
• Relationships: Building connections, friendships, and a sense of belonging within the community.
• Learning: Providing minors with the essential skills needed to navigate social and working life effectively.

Objectives

• The Housing Constellation seeks effective solutions to support minors in the delicate transition to adulthood and independence.
• The Work Constellation focuses on sharing tools and methodologies to turn young migrants’ potential into concrete opportunities, reducing barriers to entering the Italian labour market.
• The Relationships Constellation addresses the human and social dimension of integration, fostering bonds that transform young migrants from “guests” into active members of the community.
• In 2026, the Learning Constellation was introduced, focusing on language learning and civic education as key pillars for active citizenship
