Are you passionate about social media, digital awareness, and making a difference in your community? Do you want to be part of an exciting European initiative to promote online safety and responsible digital behavior?
bE-aware is looking for two Young Ambassadors living in Italy to help amplify our message and engage their peers in our communications campaign!
The bE-aware project aims to empower European young people with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world safely. By addressing Online Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (OSEA), we aim to create safer online spaces for the next generation.
Role of Young Ambassadors
We are seeking two enthusiastic young people to act as Young Ambassadors for one month. As a Young Ambassador, you will:
- Create weekly social media content: Develop engaging posts, videos, stories, and other formats that highlight the bE-aware project’s mission and resources.
- Promote digital safety: Share information on recognising and preventing online exploitation, fostering a culture of awareness among your peers.
- Engage your network: Use your social platforms to disseminate content, initiate conversations, and encourage others to join the cause.
We will provide support, materials and storytelling guidelines to help you create effective and impactful content.
What’s in it for you?
- Join a European network of young changemakers.
- Gain experience in social media content creation and digital communications.
The project also involves Young Ambassadors from other European countries, selected by the partner organisations involved in the project. The Youth Ambassador whose content achieves the highest visibility during their one-month engagement will be invited to attend the final conference of the bE-aware project in Martinique at the beginning of November (exact dates to be confirmed).
Since the one-month involvement of each Young Ambassador will take place at different times depending on the country, the winner will be announced by mid September 2025.
Eligibility criteria
- Between 18-30 years old;
- Living in Italy;
- Interested in digital topics, social media, and youth engagement;
- Availability to engage in a one-month campaign between July and August 2025;
- Active on at least one social media platform;
- Motivated to create content and share the bE-aware message with their peers.
