														Guaranteeing rights and protection to refugees means building effective, humane, and fair reception systems every day. However, for unaccompanied minors, the path is still long: they are often victims of trafficking, violence, and exploitation, and face enormous barriers to accessing education, healthcare, and emotional support. As of 31 December 2023, there were over 23,000 in Italy, with more than a quarter in Sicily.
 
														Study practices are a fundamental element of the university journey, providing students with a concrete opportunity to apply acquired knowledge and develop key skills for the job market. However, to maximize the value of this experience, proper guidance is essential to support students, academic institutions, and hosting organisations.
 
														Each year, Pride Month reminds us of the importance of upholding the right to non-discrimination and the freedom to be ourselves.
 
														The CARB – Creative Approach to Resilience and Bravery in Secondary Education project was created to innovate educational practices in secondary schools through inclusive and participatory approaches that promote empathy, active listening, and emotional well-being. At the heart of the project lies the CARB Toolkit, a pedagogical resource designed to guide teachers through a formative and experimental process that combines the methodology of deep democracy with art as a means of personal and collective expression.
 
														USSM Palermo and the Juvenile Chamber ‘Orazio Campo’ participated in a meeting in Athens to combat trafficking and child exploitation, testing digital tools and promoting European and multi-sectoral cooperation.
 
														Cosa aiuta davvero lɜ giovani in contesti difficili a restare a scuola e a costruire un futuro positivo? Come possiamo sostenere più efficacemente chi è a rischio di abbandono scolastico? Il progetto europeo SCIREARLY ha indagato queste domande ascoltando giovani che, pur provenendo da situazioni e contesti svantaggiati, sono riuscitɜ a costruire percorsi educativi positivi e co-creare raccomandazioni concrete per politiche e pratiche scolastiche più efficaci.
