The Inclusive Education Festival has ended with the completion of the last of three meetings held in Palermo on the 3rd, 10th and 23rd of November, hosted by Cre.zi Plus located in Cantiere Culturali della Zisa.

Throughout all these gatherings we had the chance to share many new ideas and exchange different viewpoints among all the involved actors in the local educational framework, such as teachers and informal educators. We asked ourselves which are today’s challenges, opportunities and future prospectives regarding the scholar inclusion of students with a migrant background.

In addition, new tools, methodologies, and good innovative practices designed within the ENACTED project were presented during the meeting, to support the whole educative community with the inclusion of newly arrived migrants in Italy (NAI).

Interculturality, diversity, equity, common values, psychological support, cultural mediators, peer-to-peer learning, and stigma are only some of the keywords that popped up during the festival.

If you are a teacher, formal or informal educator or any other figure belonging to the  educational community, take a look at the ENACTED project’s webpage where you can find an extensive depositary of Innovative Practices for Inclusive Education (DIPIE),  as well as a forum where you can exchange inclusive practices with other professionals from Europe.

ENACTED – European network of an active civil society for education and diversity is funded for the next three years by the EACEA Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency – Erasmus + program Key Action 3: Support for policy reforms.
