Tackling Early School Leaving during Covid-19 time: the DREAMS experience
During the last months, in the context of the DREAMS project, different schools in Spain, Italy and Portugal piloted the workshop “The Trip”.
DREAMS: how to prevent early school leaving after primary school?
The project started in December 2019, with a meeting in Barcelona, where “La Xixa Teatre” hosted a meeting between the school “IC Cassarà-Guida”, the Spanish school “Fundació per a Escoles Parroquials -L’Esperança ”, the Portuguese school“ Agrupamento de Escolas do Barreiro ”and CESIE. Together, in a two-year course, the objective is set to prevent early school leaving by analyzing reality in the best way possible to better use the Theatre of the Oppressed to respond to identified needs.
