Open submission for the cross – cultural exchange “USE NEGATIVE-MAKE POSITIVE” in Lithuania (6th – 14th of June).

Using the negative to extrapolate the positive: this is the project philosophy, that uses both metaphor and photographic language practical technique, through a negative image we can think and observe reality to find the right exposition!
The purpose is to pull down stereotypes that identify us wrongly according to our nationality, in order to reflect upon minorities, especially ethnic ones, and activate a ‘darkroom’ process: converting political – economical disadvantaged conditions into a source of inspiration for socially inspired arts, acquiring photographic and artistic skills.

Participants will prepare several artistic workshops for local young people, forming the final event: Biennial Photographic Exhibition 2010 (12th of June, Plunge, Lithuania).

To submit contact scambiculturali@cesie.org.
