“Homeless in Europe” is the theme of this round-table discussion organized by CESIE – Centro Studi ed Iniziative Europeo, that will take place on Friday 1st of April, starting at 3.30 pm.
The Round Table discussion is under the project ISPAW (Implementing Social Pathways to ameliorate the situation of wandering homeless persons), a Grundtvig Learning Partnership (www.programmallp.it) that has the main aim to exchange good practice in giving assistance to homeless.
Until now, the partnership has visited the structures addressed to support homeless in Poland, Latvia and Romania. Now, it is Palermo’s time to welcome the European Partners of the project to discuss their own local issues and the applied interventions made in this sector.

The debate will be developed with the presence of the partners, operators of the sector and social workers coming from: Italy, France, Latvia, Poland and Romania and it will have the aim to illustrate to participants from all Europe, the local situation of homeless and the public policies undertaken in this field.
The local partners of CESIE for the project ISPAW are “Centro Astalli” and “il Comitato Lotta per la casa 12 Luglio”, that are active organizations within this field.
