CESIE, in the framework of the project called “SOLE-Social Networks for Local Empowerment” (co-financed by the Europe for Citizens programme Action 1.2.2), is pleased to invite representatives of Sicilian municipalities and non-profit organisations to the session “Local Entities and access to direct European funding. A resource or a problem?”, organised together with the Municipality of Cefalù and Ancisicilia during the training conference “Financing of local entities and new taxation of municipalities” on 4th of December 2012.
In this session, CESIE will present the Europe for Citizens programme and the different opportunities of funding of 2013 for public authorities and civil society organisations. This programme is of great relevance since 2013 has been chosen as the European Year of Citizens. The first call for proposals is expected on February 2013.
