How to enhance the scientific research and transfer to civil society new knowledges, making them accessible and usable by everyone?

TATRACTATRAC has no doubts: we need to spread the culture of innovation and the ideal link between research centers and civil society are associations.

TATRAC – Tissu Associatif et Transfert de Connaissances – is a project co-funded by the European Union through the ENPI CBC Italy-Tunisia 2007-2013.

The project will last for eighteen months (from January 2014 to June 2015) and is coordinated by ANPR – National Agency for the Promotion of Research, Tunisia.

TATRAC main objectives:

TATRAC aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Strengthening the role of associations in the national innovation system;
  • Enhance the scientific knowledge and good practice sharing;
  • Encourage the roots of a strong culture of innovation.

These nodal actions will be developed under the project:

  • Selection of associations in Tunisia;
  • Raising awareness and provide training to the selected associative actors;
  • Supporting organizations in the creation and implementation of a self-developed project aimed at the transfer of knowledge;
  • Exploiting and disseminating the results obtained in the different phases of the project.
