Are you a teacher? Are you interested in intercultural education? Here’s the perfect free training opportunity for you!

As part of the RE.MA.C. project, CESIE is offering primary and secondary school teachers a training opportunity in the months of March and April.

In Italy, the project brought together teachers, native Italian students, and students with migratory backgrounds. The main objective was to develop teaching materials that utilize new technologies to create inclusive learning opportunities and, consequently, transform schools into places where students and teachers understand, respect, and accept everyone, regardless of diversity.

The training we offer involves teachers from all primary school classes and the first class of lower secondary school. It aims to initiate a reflective teaching practice based on the development of intercultural communicative competence in the classroom. The involved teachers will design and conduct teaching segments that take into account the principles of intercultural education and techniques for teaching Italian as a second language (L2), and will experiment with some distinctive features of intercultural education. Additionally, at the end of the training, participating teachers will be able to use MILAGE Learn + 2.0, a mobile application (App) that allows students to access a wide range of teaching content both during curriculum hours and extracurricular hours. This enables students to work collaboratively both inside and outside the school walls. Teachers will have access to their portfolio, automatically generated by the App.

Audience: Teachers from all primary school classes and the first class of lower secondary school.

What you will learn:
