Changing narrative through pictures: Get involved in STIRE workshops

2 July 2019Get involved, Migration

Photography is a powerful tool to express yourself and your own ideas as pictures can convey emotions, memories, sensations.

“Changing the narrative about migration through self-representation” is the central theme of the 6 sessions of the workshop that will be organized by trainers and facilitators in order to give people with migrant background the opportunity to tell true stories about migration while also acquiring basic photography skills. Shoots taken will be selected by participants themselves and displayed in an exhibition to be held in a city venue.

The first session will start on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 15:00 to 18:00 in Palermo at CESIE’s headquarter in Via Roma, 94.
