Photography as a universal language: the daily integration through your own eyes

8 October 2019Get involved, Migration

At the start the third and last photography workshop organized within the framework of the STIRE project, and inspired by the theme “Changing the narrative about migration through self-representation”. The workshop concludes a process of artistic experimentation which saw wide participation of young people with a migratory background coming from different continents. The application of basic photographic techniques during both theoretical and practical sessions, together with the mutual exchange of experiences among participants, will allow for an actual narration of their personal and social reality.

If you are passionate about arts and keen to learn more about digital photography through the guidance of experienced trainers, sign up for the 3° workshop. Shoots taken will be selected by participants themselves and displayed in an exhibition to be held in November. At the end of the event, the 3 authors receiving the greatest number of preferences will win a camera!

The workshop will be held in Italian and is open to migrants. Participation is free but places are limited!

To register, fill out the online form by 14th of October.
