We are looking for an Italian young person (aged from 18 to 30) for an EVS project hosted by the organization Carpe Diem, located in Doboj (Bosnia). The organization works with young people, aimed at improving their conditions and encouraging their active role in society. Several activities are carried on, such as language courses, dance and musical workshops.
Activities of the volunteer
The volunteer from Italy will be given a possibility to choose between volunteering in a local museum, a City library or in a Multimedia Centre within the Youth CentreThe volunteer, supported by a tutor, will be involved in the activities for about 6/7 hours per day, from Monday to Friday; weekends will be free. Each month the volunteer will have 2 days off. A local language course will be provided, too.
When?
6 months, from September 2015 to February 2016.
Costs
The costs of food and accommodation will be fully covered by the hosting organization. Moreover, the volunteer will receive a monthly pocket money for additional personal expenses. Travel costs (from/to Italy) are covered up to 275 euro. The project provides also an AXA insurance.
