The piloting of the HyPro4ST training course for hybrid and sustainable project managers was completed, thanks to every participant who joined this great learning opportunity!
HyPro4ST ‘s objective to raise a new professional profile had culminated into the creation of the online e-course, an opportunity for any tourism professional to gain knowledge on sustainable and hybrid project management.
Between January and April 2025, an extensive piloting of the course platform was conducted to gather valuable feedback on the VOOC and its content.
More than 1,800 people from 21 countries took part in this phase, focusing on certain lessons in particular or completing the entire course.
Participants who completed the largest number of units in each of the 6 partner countries also had the opportunity to participate in national study visits: 6 exemplary initiatives in the field of sustainable tourism were visited and shared their experience with the participants.
It was an impressive journey, made possible thanks to the contributions of those who participated in the testing phase, helping us to fine-tune this great resource for the next student classrooms.
In the meantime, the HyPro4ST course will continue to be available to anyone interested.
But the news isn’t over yet!
May will be an extremely attractive month for everyone who wants to learn more about sustainable tourism: the international HyPro4ST conference is just around the corner, and Palermo will host it.
Three attendees per country – from among those who have completed the most units of the online course – will take part in an international study visit to Palermo on Thursday 15 May 2025, visiting the city’s excellence in responsible tourism.
And for those who have not yet participated in HyPro4st activities and want to learn more, two big conferences are scheduled:
- Monday 12 May 2025 at IPSSEOA Pietro Piazza in Palermo, a conference will be held exclusively for the Institute’s tourism student classes. [NON-BOOKABLE EVENT]
- Friday 16 May 2025 at Real Teatro Santa Cecilia, there will be an international conference open to the public and with international guests from the industry. The conference will be followed by a musical event by Radiodervish. [CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR FREE TICKET]
