Facing the urgency of global warming, pollution, and biodiversity loss, action begins with awareness.
The GEA project has concluded its extraordinary journey, demonstrating how adult education is key to a sustainable future. Our mission? To boost environmental literacy and encourage communities to take responsibility for protecting the planet.
Our event in Brussels: a success story of engagement
On 21st and 22nd October 2025, the GEA consortium met in the heart of European cooperation, Brussels, for the final event. It was a crucial moment, not only for the consortium’s strategy but also for the wider community!
Over 50 participants joined us both in-person and online to celebrate the results and engage in a lively dialogue about eco-consciousness and sustainability.
The partners proudly presented the main outcomes of the project, sharing an exclusive preview of the entire set of innovative educational materials and resources. The discussion was enriching, with attendees immediately identifying new opportunities and future projects that can leverage GEA’s legacy!
Free and open resources for change!
GEA’s true victory lies in its legacy: all tools are now available to you, completely free of charge!
To achieve our goals of increasing participation and encouraging the co-design of environmental policies, we have developed a unique set of resources, including:
- An e-learning programme for adult educators;
- The Sustainability Toolkit with tips and daily sustainable practices.
We are grateful for having you accompany us on this fantastic journey. This is only the beginning of the transformation!
