In November the training course on innovative entrepreneurship, which has been developed in the course of the FIERE (Furthering Innovative Entrepreneurial Regions of Europe) project, will take place in Palermo. The objective of the project is to spread those entrepreneurial competences in regional public and private organisations that can facilitate bottom-up regional development and tie-in with top-down regional development policies.

The training course, which is free of charge, addresses employees in the public, private and non-profit sector, as well as young graduates aspiring towards undertaking an entrepreneurial activity. The training aims at developing the entrepreneurial competences required for the acquirement of an innovative approach in the own work environment and for responding in an efficient way to citizens’/clients’ needs: creativityanalytical thinkingresourcefulnessleadership and resilience.

The training programme is being promoted by CESIE in the context of the FIERE project, which is financed by the LLP programme – Grundtvig action of the European Commission. The Irish “Tipperary County Council” is the public organisation coordinating the project, which collaborates with six partner organisations from Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, Iceland and Italy.
