CESIE is pleased to invite you to a meeting on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” that will take place on 7th October 2015 from 4 to 6 pm at CESIE’s offices in Via Roma 94, Palermo. On this occasion we will present the new training course developed by CESIE and its partners in the frame of the project FIERE – Furthering Innovative Entrepreneurial Regions of Europe project, as well as some good practice examples for innovative entrepreneurship gathered in the project partners’ countries.
The FIERE project has a duration of two years and is implemented by partners from six European countries (Italy, Ireland, Island, Bulgaria, Greece and Portugal) with the financial support of the Lifelong Learning Programme (Grundtvig Action) of the European Commission.
During the last months partners of the project have developed a training course which will allow to develop some competences necessary to enhance innovative entrepreneurship, and which addresses employees of local and regional organisations, both public and private. Entrepreneurship and innovation are indeed essential to boost socio-economic betterment of regions.
The training course has been elaborated on the basis of a needs analysis, carried out through a desk research and a survey with employees of the public and private sector and of social enterprises within the six partner regions. In the three modules of the course participants will develop the following entrepreneurial skills:
- Creativity and Innovation;
- Analytical Thinking and Resourcefulness;
- Leadership and Resilience.
These fundamental entrepreneurial skills will be illustrated by case studies of good entrepreneurial and innovative practice.
The course, lasting 8 hours, will have a limited number of participants; it will take place between October and November 2015. Please note that the course will be free of charge. Dates of the lessons will be agreed with participants. At the end of the course participants will obtain a certificate of attendance certifying the topics treated during the course.
