EDDILI is an international project is co-funded by the European Commission through the Lifelong Learning Programme under the action Grundtvig Multilateral projects, coordinated by the Center for Creative Development Danilo Dolci and started in November 2009 with a duration of 24 months.
The project is the result of cooperation of seven organizations from six European countries (Italy, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, Holland, Switzerland) in the development and exchange of experiences and methods for adult learning.
EDDILI, starting from the positive impact observed in the maieutic laboratory made in Italy from the center, aims to share the reciprocal maieutic approach in the context of adult education at international level.
From 22th to 26th January 2010, the kick off meeting has been held in Palermo. During the kick off meeting in Palermo 12 trainers from different countries have participated in various maieutic workshops and group work in order to understand the reciprocal maieutic approach.
In each respective partner country from May to October 2010, the 12 trainers who participated in the initial kick off meeting in Palermo, are doing a training course for adult educators by putting into practice the new skills and using the reciprocal maieutic approach.
The course includes 8 in presence modules and 5 e-learning modules mainly based on the theme of education, communication, intercultural dialogue, creativity, culture of peace and conflict transformation.
From 14th to 16th July 2010, a new international meeting will be held in Frechen between the project partners with the objective of evaluating the work done at local level and coordinate the next steps.
After the training coursse will be created a prototype of the RMA and in the meantime ALS will have to put in practice the new learning achievements in their daily practice with adult learners in order to proceed with the evaluation of the impact of the method and the value of reciprocal maieutic approach in adult education.
After the evaluation of impact will be created the final version of RMA manual to use in education and training with adult learning staff.
