Mobility and skills are the key words of the project PC IMPRESS, aimed at developing and providing new evaluation and capitalization tools for people had a learning experience abroad and for European organizations dealing with this field.
From November 2014, project managers from Italy, France, Spain, Oland and Poland are drafting and realizing the following tools:
- Lists of existing evaluation tools for project manager
- Skills Portofolio for participants of mobility projects
- Guide for evaluation and capitalization meetings for project managers
- Need analysis and research of the competences for the labor market for employers and project managers
In the next months these tools will be uploaded in the online project platform, containing also an user’s manual for such tools.
After a first phase of study and production, the 5 partner organizations (CESIE, ADICE, STEP, Pro Work e VCC) has started the testing and dissemination phase of the tools that are going to be finalized in the next months.
Why a mobility project?
During last years, European Commission has promoted a new way of learning for European citizens: mobility. From 2007 to 2013, more than 2 million people have experienced different contexts and cultures, empowering themselves and becoming a part of the big picture of the European citizenship. A mobility experience is the best way to grow personally and professionally. In fact, a learning experience abroad:
- It makes you more competitive in the labour market.
- It allows you to stand out from other people, as it makes you become more flexible and adaptable to different labour contexts.
- You “learn by doing” thanks to non-formal and informal methodologies usually applied in volunteering context, which are useful for applying for future jobs.
- It empowers your soft skills.
- You are active and feel engaged in civil society.
- It gives you the opportunity to have an internationally recognized certificate, which increase your chance to be successful in the labour market.
Why PC IMPRESS?
PC IMPRESS, a project co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme (Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in the field of Education, Training and Youth), improves the quality of the mobility projects, not only in the implementation but especially in the post mobility phase, where the participant need to put in practice what learnt.
