From the 23rd to the 24th of February 2015 the coordinators of PC IMPRESS – Promotion and Capitalization of International Mobility Project to Reinforce Employability and Sociability System – met in Lublin (Poland) for the second meeting of this European project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in the field of Education, Training and Youth).
The five project’s partners deepened the theme on how to promote and capitalize mobility projects, in order to strengthen people’s employability back from a mobility.
They have predefined the form and content of 3 of the 6 tools that will be developed, tested and launched during the 3 years of the project:
- List of existing tools and methods for Capitalization and Promotion of International Mobility Projects;
- Skills Portfolio;
- Innovative IT capitalization tool of the needs and attempts of labour market.
Each one concerns a different group. The first one targets organizations dealing with mobility; the second one looks to young people coming back from a mobility; the third tool involves the labor market.
In the last session, coordinators met a manager of the hotel sector, for better understanding the needs of the labor market. They had the opportunity to test a draft of the third tool; they deepened those competences, such as soft skills, that employers expect from people back from a mobility experience.
The next meeting will take place in Palermo, at CESIE, in the end of June. It will be another fruitful moment for examining the development of these 3 tools and starting the development of the other 3 ones foreseen by the project.
