The FIERE (Furthering Innovative Entrepreneurial Regions of Europe) project aimed to support local communities and regional economies by specifically focusing on developing skills among organisations’ employees to behave more entrepreneurially and innovatively within their work environment. The paradigm of innovative entrepreneurship lies at the intersection of entrepreneurship and innovation as it recognises the necessity of teaching innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity skills to policy makers, managers, administrators, enterprise development officers, community leaders and developers, founders of community and social enterprises, and organisers/managers of local community entities.
