Are you a youth worker and would like to exchange ideas and improve your professional and personal skills to help unemployed young people to develop their entrepreneurship skills?
CESIE is seeking participants for the following project:
Youth Spirit of Entrepreneurship for Employability (You SEE) is a Training Course funded by the European Union within the Youth in Action Programme and it aims to enable the development of entrepreneurial skills of youth leaders and workers, volunteers and peer educators to undertake initiatives and support other young people in their searching for job opportunities.
Despite the unprecedented opportunities which modern Europe offers, young people face challenges, aggravated by the economic crisis, in education and training systems and in accessing the labour market. The purpose of the project is to respond to today’s crisis by stimulating young people’s mobility and their active participation in society as their access to all the opportunities that it offers, especially for young people with fewer opportunities.
The project will take place in Palermo between the 25th of May and the 2nd of June in 2013 and it will involve 40 participants from 14 countries: from Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, UK, France, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Malta and Slovenia. Through non formal and active working methods the training course aims at promoting tools for young people to use to become entrepreneurs in their life, and youth workers and leaders for updating their way to offer new opportunities and support to youth in European countries.
To apply and for further information about You SEE please contact Maja Brkusanin (maja.brkusanin@cesie.org).
