How to foster and facilitate the inclusion of people in need of international protection?
How to build welcoming and inclusive communities?
Within the WELCOMM project, we are launching a free training/information course consisting of 5 meetings addressed to adult migrants (18 years and older) who have arrived in Italy less than a year ago. A certification will be awarded at the end of the course.
The course aims to provide detailed information on important aspects related to living in Italy such as:
- Welcome to Italy,
- Cultures and values,
- Rights and Responsibilities,
- Health and Social Benefits,
- Education and Leisure,
- Work and Finance.
The training course will be an opportunity to reflect and define personal and professional goals through non-formal methodology, dynamic and interactive activities. During the course, participants will be introduced to and coached on how to use WELCOMM online platform, a tool that supports the learning process and contains detailed information on the course topics, which will allow participants to live and navigate in Italy.
The course will be carried out in two cycles and will be conducted in Italian, English and French. For each cycle, the maximum number of participants is 10.
The main venue of the course will be CESIE, via Roma, n 94, Palermo. It may happen that we will organize some of the workshops at a different venue known by the participants, which will be communicated beforehand.
