How to help teachers from partner schools collaborate amid the pandemic? How to keep working and designing relevant teaching tools in the frame of the project?

To create this community of experiential and peer learners among teachers from partner schools and to respond to the challenges posed by the pandemic, the AROSE partnership decided to deliver two preliminary online training sessions. The aim was to provide teachers with further information concerning some of the project products: the rubrics, the assessment model, and the platform.

The webinars were complementary and will precede the face-to-face training course. The sessions took place on Zoom on January 12th and 19th. They were hosted by CESIE and could count on the invaluable academic support and supervision of a group of experts from the University of Murcia. More than 20 teachers participated in the programme. During the first session, they had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the assessment model and the rubrics, guided by Dolores Vidal from the University of Murcia. During the second webinar, Maria del Mar Vera and Isabel Gutierrez Porlan introduced the platform and discussed its features and peculiarities with teachers.

The webinars were a crucial moment as they helped the partnership get together and work on some of the project’s outputs.
