In&Out experimentation phase on Palermo, was finished the last 13th December 2018, presenting the results and sharing the experience with the public during the local event “Celebriamo i diritti di tutti” (“Let’s celebrate the rights of everyone”)

The six sessions held during November and December 2018 in Palermo, were attended by a group of young people very varied in age, cultural and educational background and of different nationalities, and this greatly enriched the process and also the results of the training.

As planned by the project, we used the methods developed by the In&Out partners. We had sessions on RMAphotography and storytellingdance and art.

Through the In&Out method we had the opportunity to reflect as a group on the meaning of art in our lives, inter and multiculturality, etc.

We also took the occasion of the December 10th session, World Human Rights Day, to launch some messages through art. An incredible experience that made us communicate without words and unite more as a group in the same direction.

Being part of this group has meant an opportunity for all participants, each in a different sense.

For the local participants, it was an opportunity to meet and share moments with migrants and vice versa. For those more experienced in art it was a good opportunity to share their knowledge and for those less experienced to test their creativity.

In short, these have been stimulating, fun and challenging days for everyone and during the final conclusion we have decided to continue with the group out of the project.

During the next months, the partnership will work in the development and improvement of In&Out methodologies to publish the final outputs of the project in the project’s online platform, according to the feedback of participants and professionals who took part on the experimentation phase.
