The last mobility of the project “Face to Succes” – Grundtvig Learning Partnership, under the programme LLP (Lifelong Learning Programme) took place in Nagyvázsony, Hungary, on the 23rd of May 2014.
The six European partners (the coordinator Diagonál Magyarország Ifjúságsegítők Országos Szervezete from Hungary, CESIE from Italy, Grenville Battery Trust from UK, NC Future Now from Bulgaria, IKA Asociatia Tinere from Romania and Naturfreunde Thüringen e.V. from Germany) together with learners, consisting of Roma and migrant community representatives, visited the Hungarian Roma communities and local voluntary associations. the three days of meeting ended with a conference about Roma and migrant communities integration within the local communities, attended by several government representatives, members of voluntary associations and civic society.
Through local and transnational activities, the two-year project aimed to use voluntary work as a tool to let immigrants familiarize with the labor market, valuing at the same time their native cultures, especially the Roma community culture, which is slowing disappearing.
Six mobility were previewed by the project, one in each partner country. In total CESIE involved six learners with different migrant background (Bangladesh, Colombia, Senegal, Sri Lanka) in order to exchange personal experiences and deepen the subject of integration into the labour market.
The main results of the project are:
- Portfolio: it contains the descriptions of the skills acquired by the learners throughout the project;
- Europass CV: partners have supported learners for writing and English translation of their cv;
- My song: it’s a collection of songs performed by the learners, representing their own culture and personal experiences.
