Reach Youth second online training event took place! Are you a teacher, youth worker or social worker and are interested in our experience with the democracy interventions for youth we tested?
The second online training among Reach Youth partners took place from the 14th to the 18th of June. During the week we had the chance to try out and evaluate additional 5 activities stimulating dialogue, democratic values and participation for young people. After trying the activities among ourselves we evaluated them assessing their effectiveness and applicability with young people. These activities will be added to those already available on our Reach Youth curriculum and democracy intervention set.
These methods are:
- Missiles or territory;
- Powerflower;
- Structured Democratic Dialogue Process;
- Hiding Place;
- The ladder of participation.
All these activities, prior some adjustments, are suitable for young people and are designed to make them curious and engaged with the democratic values in a collaborative, positive and hands-on way.
Additionally to that, we also had the chance to work out some exercises from our supplementary module on Communication and Conflict basics, supported by our amazing Bulgarian partners Bimec. The module is online and freely available already on our website reachyouth.eu.
