violenza bambiniCESIE has been actively involved, since December 2009, in the “Stronger children, less violence” project within the European Commission’s Daphne III Programme:“ Fundamental Rights and Justice”. The project foresees the participation of Spanish, German, Bulgarian, English, Romanian partners which are all involved in the development of training materials for preschool age children, their parents and educators, in order to prevent violent behaviors.

One of the most important steps along this path is the Training Course that will introduce to teachers and parents from different European areas, the new educational methods that have been developed. It will take place in Palermo, in the Ubuntu Centre, Link-Officine Mediterranee, in Via Roma 443, from the 11th to the 13th of May 2011, each day from 9,30 to 17,30. Professionals in the Educational field from six different countries will participate, alternating seminars, group activities and study visits to some childhood centers in the Palermo.
