The Tempus project, MAHATMA – Master in Higher Education Management Developing Leaders For Managing Educational Transformation mahatma.am hold its latest coordination meeting at International Black Sea University – Tbilisi, Georgia 10th-11th July 2014, with the participation of all consortium members. The meeting supported mainly the discussions regarding the PAE establishment (Professional Association of Educationalists), issues on student mobility (PCI-PCI, PCI-EU) as well as pilot accreditation of the newly developed/revised MA programmes.
The Master programmes at the 8 Armenian and Georgian universities involved begun in October 2013 and are today already at the end of the second semester. But, what’s the students’ benefit in experiencing one of the MAHATMA MA programmes?
- The programme was developed with support of European experts
- This means its contemporary content, materials, educational equipment, teaching, learning and assessment methods
- The lecturers possess adequate qualifications and have been trained within this project
- Two best students will go for a 2-week student exchange with one of the EU partners in the third semester
- Two more students will go for an exchange program to Armenia/Georgian partners in the third semester
- While doing research (Master Thesis), you will have a co-supervisor from one of the EU partners
