Sport and voluntary activities: let’s go to Romania for an EVSYou have a desire for involvement, responsibility, willingness to learn a new language and culture, and high motivation to bring their input in the improvement of the sport community? This EVS is for you!

CESIE starts the selection of 2 female volunteers for the EVS projects called “Find and practice the sports which fit you the best!”, for Italian youth from 18 to 30 years old.

When?

6 months, from September 2015 to February 2016.

Where?

The hosting organization is Multisport Experience Sport Club from Arad, Romania.

Which activities?

This project’s major topics are: sport for all; healthy lifestyle; improving ICT intake of the youngsters.

Among the activities foreseen by the project, the EVS volunteers will :

  • carry out a research on the projet topics
  • create a map of the sport infrastructures and activities in Arad
  • create an information campaign regarding the importance of gender equality in sport
  • make some short movies destined to promote sport in Arad and the importance of gender equality in sport.

Supported by a mentor, he/she will be involved in EVS activities for 6/7 hours per day, from Monday till Friday; weekends will be free. Every month the volunteer will have 2 free days. A local language course will be provided.

Costs?

The costs of food, accommodation and local transport will be fully covered by the host organization. Furthermore the volunteer will receive a monthly pocket money for personal expenses extra. Travel costs (go and back) are covered up to 275 Euros. Finally, the project provides a medical insurance.
