Would you like to learn more about entrepreneurship and business management? Are you an adult from a third country wanting to start your own business?

Starting in November, the PLOUTOS Business Acceleration Lab will take place! The main objective of the course is to increase entrepreneurial and business management skills by providing concrete support for starting your own business.

The training includes group sessions and individual mentoring focusing on theoretical concepts and pratical activities with the participation of experts and mentors as well as study visits with entrepreneurs in the fields of interest of the participants.

  • Logistics and demand forecasting

  • PEST Analysis
  • Tax procedures and invoices

  • Payroll
  • Inventory management
  • Sales advice
  • Organisational structure
  • Insurance Customer service
  • Securing business financing
  • Online banking
  • Branding
  • Field visits by foreign businessmen/entrepreneurs*
  • Homework to deepen some concepts

This approach aims to create an excellent environment for practical learning on all topics related to running your own business by working on real examples based on the ideas of the participants.

As part of the training, participants will also receive personalised advice in the preparation of small business strategies that will help migrant entrepreneurs to plan their business activities concretely.

The course will be held from 21 November to 21 March every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon (excluding Christmas break) in CESIE’s offices – Via Roma 94, 90133 Palermo PA. Participation requires availability on all dates, as well as the brief presentation of a business idea (even in its initial state) that will be worked on during the course.

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 5 people, and you can apply by 12 November 2023 through the following link ! CESIE will hold introductory interviews at the beginning of November 2023.
