CESIE is looking for 2 youth workers, social workers, activists, who work directly with vulnerable/marginalized groups and socially engaged individuals.
This mobility offers core training on Digital Storytelling methodology that enables participants to critically assess media representation of diversity, and offers an alternative view by addressing social exclusion through visual mediums. Participants will learn to create photostories/ videostories and use crossmedia approaches to generate their own contents.
There will 3 phases in which every participant has to attend:
Preparatory phase: participants will receive links to exercises and short video tutorials to acquirebasic knowledge about photography and video, with few exercises that participants will have to implement and submit. Preparatory phase will not take more than 2 hours per week.
The training: it will equip participants to create engaged video, photo and Crossmedia stories and also to pass the basic knowledge on socially engaged methodology of photography and video to vulnerable and marginalized population.
Follow up phase: prepare a short photostory/ videostory or transfer their knowledge in the form of organized short multiplier workshop for vulnerable and marginalized population.
There will be two parallel workshops during the first mobility: video and photography. One participant per each of two parallel trainings.
The participnats will come from Estonia, France, Portugal, Slovenia, Latvia, Spain, Greece.
Costs:
- Travel costs are reimbursed up to 275 euro
- Accommodation and food are covered 100%
- Fee of 60 euro
