Inter-disciplinary post-graduate program in Institutions, law, economy and EU policies
An international dimension to foster the admission to labor market
The Foundation Collegio Europeo di Parma is a post-graduate training institution, specialized in alti studi europei (European Studies) aiming to train young European and non-European graduates in the field of law, economy and EU policies. Collegio Europeo sets its training courses with a view to potential careers within European, national and local institutions, trade associations, as well as within business and freelance field. Among its main goals, Collegio Europeo aims at training professional figures able to follow European policies and to participate to their realization.
The Degree and Master’s degree in European Studies (Diploma e Master Universitario in Alti Studi Europei – DASE) is a leading and inter-disciplinary educational course about institutions, law, economy and main EU policies. High level managers of European Institutions, teachers and experts in European subjects, are the main components of the teaching staff. The participation of students of several nationalities gives birth to a lively international environment, allowing the encounter with different cultures and, through mutual knowledge, real integration opportunities.
Teaching Plan
The teaching plan is structured into two stages.
- Degree in Alti Studi Europei (European Studies)
The first stage includes two semesters of full time didactic activities (from October to July), of 800 hours. A part from lessons and individual study, the course includes lectiones magistrales, group activities and debates, research activities and in-depth analysis, didactic tours to enterprises, as well as seminars and exercises aiming to foster the admission to labor market for the future graduates.
- Master’s Degree in Alti Studi Europei (Master’s degree in European Studies)
The second stage is subsequent to second semester’s exams. The graduates have the possibility to obtain a Master’s Degree in Alti Studi Europei (European Studies), developing, supervised by a teacher, a thesis about an European theme correlated to a course or seminar of the teaching plan.

Working languages
Subjects and didactic activities foreseen by the teaching plan are developed in three languages: French, English and Italian.
In order to provide the students with the necessary linguistic skills – useful for their professional future – the Collegio realizes courses in the three languages before mentioned.
Internship
The Collegio Europeo di Parma allows its graduates to attend some internships within enterprises, companies, trade associations and private practices, at national level, as well as within their delegations in Europe. The number of graduates entering the labor market in Europe is growing every day. Many of them win competitions published by European Institutions.
