Large-scale EVS - Let’s make and take part in the “Disabled free fest”Are you from 18 to 30 years old? Do you like to work in a team? Would you like to stay together with other 32 youngsters from several European countries? Do you want to be proactive by realizing a festival?

Description of the project

“Disabled free fest” is a large-scale EVS project which is going to be implemented by 33 volunteers from 12 different countries: Estonia, Moldova, Italy (3 youngsters), Bulgaria, Spain, Albania, Belarus, Georgia, Romania, Poland, Sweden and Turkey. EVS young people with different social backgrounds will be involved as volunteers in the preparation and implementation of the intercultural event called “Disabled Free Fest”. During the preparatory activities (17 days), the EVS volunteers, together with local volunteers, will be split in working groups, each one with different task (management group, media group, creative group, sport group etc.). The festival will last 3 days and it will provide initiatives for disabled people.

Hosting organisation

System and Generation Association (S&G), established in 2008 and based in Ankara, is a no profit organisation promoting cultural and social initiatives for youngsters at local and European level.

Costs?

The costs of food, accommodation (at local families) and local transport will be fully covered by the project. Furthermore the volunteer will receive a pocket money for personal expenses extra. Travel costs (go and back) are covered up to 275 Euros. Finally, the project provides a medical insurance.
