You think about the idea, we’ll help you make it happen!

2 April 2020Get involved, Migration

The crisis linked to the spread of the Coronavirus shows how all of us are responsible for their own and everyone's well-being.

The challenge seems to be at the moment to use this virtual space, the only way of action, not only as a creative opportunity to reinvent ourselves, but also as a space to share and recover the sense of community and social awareness.

Even in this moment, we can feel like active citizens sharing experiences, skills and common interests of people, groups, associations to create something concrete together.

We therefore launch this challenge by asking individuals or a group of up to 6 people to send us their idea of collective action online, which must be sent by April 17th by filling out this form.

We will select 2 collective actions that will have the following requirements:

  • Will have to be presented by young people living in Italy.
  • Young people with a migrant background and young people who have volunteered abroad or locally working together in the project.
  • The topic should be linked to a concrete problem encountered in the community, in the neighborhood, in one's own city or in a wider Europe, globally.

MOVE: young people in action for an inclusive Europe

MOVE: young people in action for an inclusive Europe

MOVE involved young people from Italy, Spain, Belgium and Cyprus to raise awareness of migration and promote social inclusion and European cohesion. Through workshops, campaigns and the MOVE Goose Game, participants developed empathy and awareness of the challenges related to inclusion. The course concluded with the presentation of the MOVE Decalogue of Inclusion, a tool for more cohesive societies.
