Hero’s journey is a method developed by Paul Rebillot, actor, theater director and Gestalt therapist who lived at the end of XX century. Those who exploit this method start a “journey” leading them to the discovery of their inner part (made up of an hero – always ready to give new impulses – and a demon – fighting for stability and resistance) as well as new ways to portray it, supported by the working group’s experience.
Tens of young people in Slovakia will spend a week – between the 21st and 28th of April 2013 – confronting with each other thanks to this innovative method. It will allow all participants – especially youth workers working in the youth field with disadvantaged young people – to learn useful skills in order to become fully aware of the abilities and tools they can offer to help youngsters.
