Are you passionate in EU themes and programs? Are you willing to work with youth and on NGO field? Do you want to gain and put in practice any project managements skills?
CESIE is looking for a highly motivated Italian young person (18-30 years old) for an European Voluntary Service project in Slovenia for 12 months (01/04/2015 – 31/03/16).
Venue
The hosting organisation is PiNA – Association for Culture and Education, located in Koper . Since 1997,the mission of PiNA is to offer quality educational, cultural, artistic and research activities in order to promote social development based on individual responsibility, critical thinking and sustainable living. In 2004, PiNA formed together with related Slovenian centres a network of multimedia centres, since then PiNA can be even more active in fulfilling its mission. From January 2013, PiNA is one of the seven Europe Direct Information Centres in Slovenia. PiNA also holds the status of “organisation working in public interest” appointed by the Ministry of Education.
EVS volunteer activity
Supported by a young and dynamic team, the volunteer will be involved in the following tasks:
- Proving general administrative support to international projects;
- Helping to produce proposals, plans and report;
- Organising and maintaining project files and databases;
- Assisting in monitoring the projects budgets, scheduling meetings and preparing presentations;
- Assisting in planning and implementing Europe Direct activities;
- Networking and more.
The working days will be from Monday till Friday, for around 6 hours per day; evenings and weekends will be free. Every month he/she will have 2 free days. There will also be organised free time activities and language course. The amount of the pocket money will be 85 euro per month; the hosting organisation will cover food expenses.
