EVS in Berlin - Be a volunteer at House of GenerationsA new adventure of volunteering is going to start!

If you are willing to learn, put yourself to test, live a long experience abroad, thus this European Voluntary Service project is for you!

When?

12 months: from September 2015 to August 2016

Where?

The project, coordinated by Internationaler Bund, is hosted by Haus der Generationen, an institution for local community of Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten, in the outskirts of Berlin. The “House of Generations” takes care of people of all ages (children, youth, adults, senior citizens), by offering concerts, public readings, exhibitions, film viewings, courses and workshops, sports etc.

Tasks of volunteer

The volunteer (from 18 to 30 years old) will be involved in the daily activities of the institution. He/she will support event management and marketing, help with administrative tasks, support the dementia group, organize educational activities for children and concerts.

Costs covered by the project

The hosting organization will cover food, accommodation and local transport expenses; moreover every month the volunteer will receive a pocket money for additional personal expenses (110 euro). The travel costs (from/to Italy) will be covered up to 275 euro. The project provides also a medical insurance and an course of German language.
