After the success of the first edition, we are launching a second round of free online training aimed at anyone interested in deepening their understanding of how digital tools can help prevent, investigate, and fight human trafficking, with a special focus on protecting child victims.
Thanks to DISRUPT, CESIE is contributing to the creation of a growing national network of professionals and organisations working against trafficking. Building on this momentum, we’re opening the doors to an even broader audience. The training is open to:
- Law enforcement officers, judges, prosecutors, and lawyers
- Social workers, healthcare professionals, intercultural mediators, and psychologists
- Students in relevant disciplines
- Public institutions, NGOs, associations, and human rights organisations
- Anyone working in or interested in the field of trafficking prevention and victim protection
This training is more than just a learning opportunity — it’s a space for dialogue and exchange between current and future professionals, with the aim of strengthening anti-trafficking efforts through shared knowledge and multidisciplinary approaches.
Training Topics
The programme includes 11 hours of training delivered across four online sessions, led by experts from academia and professional practice. Thanks to their diverse backgrounds — legal, criminological, intercultural, sociological, and gender-based — the sessions offer participants a holistic perspective and practical insights they can apply in their fields.

The training is currently being accredited by the Professional Order of Social Workers of the Region of Sicily. A certificate of attendance will also be issued at the end of the activities.
